Worth its 4 stars. This hotel was nice base for exploring Lower Hutt, liked it. We were greeted by helpful owner. Besides, it has a free parking and Wi-Fi.

The property is very clean; good sized rooms; comfy bed. As picky eaters we enjoyed to be close to lots of restaurants, went to Ara Sushi couple of times, it was 5 mins walk away...
